A fun one! Not without meaning.
Everyone has a bit of Jekyll in them. Everyone a bit of Hyde. Timeless I think given humanity’s inner and outer struggle with identification of and with good vs evil. I’d only seen references in other literature and cinema so good to go to the source. Interestingly, what began as an allowance of evil was considered as of the instinct and raw nature and more true than the ego evolved into a taking over of and subjugation of ego and full reign of lower self. And ended with an intensified struggle to suppress it and ultimately ended with the demise of both at the hand of this better self. Worthy of reflection. Poses some interesting questions.
